Cynthia Mutheu is a counselor that works with Action for Children in conflict in Kenya. For Cynthia, she often works with Kids that have been rescued from the streets under the reformation model to rescue, rehabilitate, re-socialize and reintegrate these children back into the society. Most of these children have experienced traumatic experiences that either pushed them to a life on the streets or they experienced loss. Most her work involves providing psychosocial support services for parents, children, youth who have experienced trauma, including counseling, therapy, and other forms of mental health. She gets to have a session called, “stories za chini ya mti” stories under a tree, where girls are encouraged to speak about any traumatic experiences and she takes them through how to deal with them. She also interacts with boys on the field and class where she creates an atmosphere of sharing and healing.

Insides Julias hotel, tea and chapati is always likely what to ask for and get it it immediately. Nemayan and Lenkai mostly spend their morning hours vending milk to the neighboring community as a source of income for their families. On lucky days, the could sell as much as 20 litres. However, when the livestock don't enough pasture, the milk could reduce to as low as 5 litres.   Their customers range from daily oders to first time buyers.
